Ananya Misra began her legal career as a paralegal with boutique litigation chambers, where she spent over three years working closely on litigation strategy. During this time, she drafted pleadings, conveyancing documents, and contracts, along with foundational company documents such as incorporation documents, Share Subscription Agreements (SSAs), Shareholders’ Agreements (SHAs), and founder agreements. Upon qualifying, she moved into practice and represented clients in commercial, company, and recovery matters, including high-value litigations involving EPC companies and fintech organisations. She later transitioned to an in-house role as part of a two-member India legal team for a major electronic consumer products company, where she managed pan-India litigation, handled contract drafting and negotiations, and assisted with regulatory defence and compliance. She now continues her practice with a clear understanding of business priorities, aligning litigation and advisory work with commercial objectives.
